Invite cards with a QR code, comments on your posts, and a livelier Progress

Amelio is a private circle, so the way you invite someone should feel like a gift, not a form.

Invite cards

Tap Share invitation (People → Add people → My code) and a card picker slides up: eight matte designs, each with one of the feeling characters, edge to edge. Swipe to the one that suits the person, then share it to Messages or Instagram, or save it to Photos.

Every card carries a QR code, so a friend can point their camera at it instead of typing. The QR codes are softer too — round dots, rounded corners, and a little character in the middle of yours — and they still scan anywhere.

One code

Your personal code is the only code now. It's on your QR, under Copy code, and at the top of every card — in groups of four, never cut off. A friend scans or types it, and you're in each other's circle once you accept.

During launch, invitations are limited: the card page says how many you have left, and Amelio gives you another every two weeks. You can also read how to use an invitation on the web, with a place to type the code from a card.

Comments on your posts

• Add a comment to your own post, and everyone who can see the post reads it. It sits under the reactions; press and hold to edit or delete it.
• Private replies stay private, as before. On your own post, Private conversations appears once somebody has replied.
• An edited post says so — "3d ago · Edited", and on the post, when. It keeps its place in the feed: editing never bumps it to the top.

Progress

• Each kind of check-in is one row: what you logged as pictures on the left — your feelings' characters, the colours you chose, the places in your body, a small compass for alignment — and the names beside them.
• Three check-ins are enough for a finding. With one or two, the card shows what you logged, not a rule about how many it needs.
• Log something and Progress updates on its own a moment later.
• If it can't refresh, you keep what you had, with a small note and a Retry button — no red error text.
• The comparison with the days before is named plainly, and waits as a greyed card that says what it needs.

Easier to use

• Tap anywhere on a row, not just its words.
• Tap the tab you're on to jump back to the top.
• On the Feed, swipe sideways to switch between All and Mine.
• The feelings you use most recently come first, wherever you pick one.
• Loading screens match the pages they become, and breathe while they wait.
• The QR scanner is dark, like the Camera, so Cancel is easy to read.

A friend's profile

• The header runs to the edges over a soft white fade, with Nudge and Nickname side by side and their latest activity on one line.
• The filter bar is glass, holds every kind of post without scrolling, and its shadow is whole on every side.

Also

• Settings says Member card instead of Membership, and Member honors no longer talks about paying or granting — honors are simply yours.
• Answering a message and changing a feeling use the same labelled feeling bar as reactions. In a reply it scrolls to the edges, in a more compact tray.
• Amelio includes no advertising-identifier code at all.
